The Assault on Religious Freedom: The Media Now Is Attacking Christian Civil Rights Legal Groups

Christian rights are under attack.

In this newsletter and my books, The Christian Voter: How to Vote For, Not Against Your Values to Transform Culture and Politics and The Deep State: 15 Surprising Dangers You Should Know, as well as numerous articles, newsletters, and blogs, I’ve detailed these assaults and the court victories that have been won.

There are over a dozen great legal Christian rights groups, such as the Pacific Justice Institute and Advocates for Faith and Freedom.

One of the organizations I’ve had the privilege of working with is the Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF).

I’ve known them for over 30 years, and I’m very impressed with their work and integrity.

But now they’re being slandered, smeared, and unfairly criticized by the Radical groups and the biased media.

For example, The Washington Post printed an article smearing ADF with innuendo, disinformation, and insinuations.

The Post makes a case that many of the businesses that ADF says it’s representing are no longer in business, thus the ADF is “fabricating” religious freedom attacks on Christian vendors.

The ADF says many of these businesses have initiated “pre-enforcement challenges.”

A pre-enforcement challenge allows a person or business to challenge a law (without actually breaking the law). They can pursue a pre-enforcement action against the government in 2 ways: (i) the law at issue is itself unlawful (say, because it violates the Constitution), or (ii) the law does not, in fact, apply to the challenger (say, because the challenger falls outside its scope).

So, someone seeking pre-enforcement relief must show that (i) they plan to engage in conduct that arguably may fall within the scope of a given law and (ii) there is a good chance that the government will enforce that law against them if they go forward with their planned conduct.

The ADF defends small business owners as well as students, employees, and more from stiff lawsuits and penalties from lawsuits that violate their Christian faith—all without cost.

Don’t believe the twisted lies and smears.

The ADF and other Christian groups are a powerful force fighting for freedom and our Constitutional rights.

Please support these groups with your donations.
