Reagan: bold, honest, forthright and focusing on our Lord Jesus Christ and His mission
Obama: only sparse mention of the above spiritual truths. The rest of their remarks were good but not Christmas specific based on the eternal values.
I liked both. I loved President Reagan! I don’t ever look to the Obamas for a strong Christian message, but was pleasantly surprised.
I was surprised Obama mentioned the real reason for Christmas, but Reagan was more specific about the divine origin and our national Christian heritage.
