Cory has undergone a lot of physical, emotional, and spiritual healing in the last three years since the shooting.

 A few weeks ago I sent out his video (Shot Six Times: An Update on My Son, Cory, Recovering from Gang-Banger Attempted Murder) to be played to the judge, the shooter, and all of the rest of the people in the courtroom.

It was an amazing, intense time.

They

played Cory’s video and it moved the court dramatically.

In fact, the judge said “Wow.”

When the video was done, the judge quoted much of what Corey had said in speaking to the shooter.

Despite the shooter’s merciless attack…

Despite the fact that he is an illegal alien…

Despite that fact that he was a known gang member…

Cory offered mercy and forgiveness in the video.

And the judge accepted the pl

ea bargain for nine years, based upon Corey’s testimony and statements.
