Two Hours…

A 78-year-old presidential candidate, Donald Trump, could carry on a conversation from 8 pm to midnight and interact with the most intelligent and brilliant entrepreneur in the world today… Elon Musk.

In my national weekly TV segment on OAN, I mentioned that Kamala Harris could not have a two-hour conversation, even with a friendly audience like The View.

There’s a link below to watch my OAN interview.

This was a game-changer.

Candidates usually do interviews where the candidate speaks most of the time in an interview.

This was a conversation… and in that conversation, it was revealed that Elon Musk used to consider himself a moderate Democrat. However, now he is petrified that the radical socialists—he even mentioned that Kamala Harris’ father was a Marxist—could be president.

“I’ve been very political before,” Musk said. “They try to paint me as a far-right guy, which is absurd because I like to make electric vehicles… I supported Obama. I stood in line for 6 hours to shake Obama’s hand… historically I was a moderate Democrat. But now I feel like we’re at a critical juncture for the country… for the people out there in the moderate camp, I think you should support Donald Trump for president.”

During the conversation with Trump, Musk explained that the inflation plaguing America was caused by government overspending and the debt that we are accumulating is dangerous to our society… we’re paying out trillions of dollars.

Musk also said the number one problem is regulations, calling for massive deregulation.

Besides calling inflation a tax, Trump also called for abolishing the Department of Education, which is his plan for deregulating, cutting waste and cost, and allowing a competition of ideas– ideas Ronald Reagan couldn’t accomplish but Trump pledges to do.

Trump acknowledged on multiple occasions throughout the interview that God saved his life. It was refreshing and great that Trump was not ashamed to bring that up.

Although millions anticipated the event, some wanted it to be stopped before it aired.

Washington Post reporter Cleve Wootson Jr. asked White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre “what “role” the Biden administration has in stopping “misinformation” from the Trump-Musk interview.”

Before the interview, there was a massive DDOS attack on X. Musk said hackers worked to shut it down and that the “massive attack illustrates [that] there is a lot of opposition to people just hearing what President Trump has to say.” The cyberattack delayed the interview by over 40 minutes.

And, of course, the mainstream media and the Democrats immediately attacked the conversation.

Here’s what some of them said:

  • Trump Rambles, slurs his way through. It was an unmitigated disaster- USA Today
  • Donald Trump’s lisp during the Elon Musk interview raises questions—Newsweek
  • Musk’s Trump talk on X: After glitchy start, a 2-hour ramble—The New York Times
  • Like watching Grumpy Old Men: Columnist on Trump’s X conversation with Musk—CNN
  • Donald Trump rambles and repeatedly lies in interview with Elon Musk—The Guardian

In addition to the harsh criticism by the biased media, the event has opened a legal can of worms for Trump and Musk.

For example:

1) The United Auto Workers filed federal labor charges against Trump and Musk, accusing them of trying to “intimidate and threaten” workers during the interview.

2) End Citizens United, a Democratic-aligned political action committee, filed an FEC complaint claiming the interview “may have violated federal campaign regulations.”

The complaint argues that the “conversation” on X was a “virtual campaign event” financed by Musk’s social media platform. Per the FEC’s website, a contribution is “anything of value given, loaned or advanced to influence a federal election.”

“Because X spent considerable resources to host an event to advocate for Trump expressly and was not entitled to the press exemption for that event, Respondents have violated the ban on giving and receiving corporation contributions,” the complaint alleges.

“The Donald Trump-Elon Musk campaign rally hosted on X wasn’t just an incoherent diatribe of lies marred by technical difficulties—it was a blatantly illegal corporate contribution to Donald Trump’s campaign. This brazen corporate contribution undermines campaign finance laws and would set a dangerous precedent for unfettered, direct corporate engagement in campaigns,” said End Citizens United president Tiffany Muller.

Despite the “lawfare” and the biased media attacks, the Trump/Musk interview was an unqualified success, according to Musk, garnering over 1 billion views.

Overall, the conversation was awesome, and I encourage you to listen to it.
