Without anyone knowing it, Apple has tried to force you to become part of the radical Green Movement.

They have put on your phone battery a control mechanism that limits when you are able to charge your phone.

You probably don’t even know it.

If you’re living in an area not compliant with the radical green agenda, they will limit the amount of battery charges.

This feature is called Clean Energy Charging.

But you can turn off this feature.

And you should do so immediately.

Watch this video, and they’ll explain to you how to turn it off.

The video makes it easy to turn off, but leans editorially towards keeping it.

I’ve turned mine off. My wife has turned hers off.

You should turn yours off.

  1. Hi. Electrical Engineer here. It is highly beneficial to charge batteries slowly. This will greatly extend their life. This is true for phones as well as EVs. A lower charge rate will not heat the battery as much as a high rate. Charging every cell phone in the USA slowly will have near zero impact on the grid, but it will help with battery life! I am now going on 5 years with my iphone7 battery and still have 81% capacity of when it was new (go to battery health to check on this). You should also check the box for “Optimized Battery Charging”

  2. The views expressed here are both valid. The point of this article is to be informed and make your own decisions based on that information. What stands out for me is the word “Sneaky”. Why companies like Apple sneak stuff into their products without the end users full knowledge? It’s not a question that can be answered. Thank you for the information. Sent from my iPhone 12 Mini.
