Biden/Harris ignores it…
Our State Department ignores it…
The media ignores it…
More than 16,000 Christians were killed in Nigeria between 2019 and 2023—And these are the verifiable numbers. They underestimate the reality.
Here are 3 things you should know…
1) Who is killing Christians?
Radical Muslims were mostly responsible the Christian deaths in Nigeria.
“For over a decade, atrocities against civilians and Christians in Nigeria have been downplayed or minimized. This has proved a major obstacle for those seeking to understand the violence,” researchers from the Observatory for Religious Freedom in Africa wrote.
2) Many Christians enslaved
It’s modern slavery.
Islamic militias are targeting Christian populations, carrying out mass kidnappings, and enforcing “slavery” in communities.
3) The Nigerian Government
The Nigerian government is ignoring the Christian genocide… They are not protecting Christians. In fact, they hold to a policy of concealing the religious identity of victims, trying to bury the problem in the sand.
“Millions of people are left undefended. For years, we’ve heard of calls for help being ignored as terrorists attack vulnerable communities. Now the data tells its own story,” said Frans Vierhout, senior analyst at the Observatory of Religious Freedom in Africa.
Over 11,185 Christians were abducted.
Armed Muslim Fulani herdsmen were responsible for 9,153 Christian deaths during that time span; Other Islamic terrori
st groups accounted for 29% or 4,895 deaths. Combined, Boko Haram and ISWAP were responsible for 8% of the Christian deaths, which amounts to 1,268 fatalities.
The persecution of Christians in Nigeria is not just an isolated tragedy—it’s a global issue that demands attention.
Yet, the Biden-Harris administration remains silent. Our State Department, which should stand for religious freedom, is ignoring the cries of these martyrs. And the media, complicit in their silence, continues to bury the story.
As Christians, we are called to be the voice for the voiceless. The brutal murders, kidnappings, and enslavement of our brothers and sisters in Christ must not
be overlooked.
We cannot sit idly by while radical Islamic groups wage war against the Church. We must pray, we must advocate, and we must demand that our government act.
