Does the state or federal government have the right to outlaw speech or what you believe?
More and more states feel they have the right to control speech…
And as we now know, thanks to Elon Musk and the Twitter Files, the federal government colluded with Big Tech to control speech that they didn’t like.
Colorado’s discrimination laws are forcing small business owner Lorie Smith to create a custom website for a gay wedding.
Lorie believes that marriage is for a man and a woman… That’s based on her religious beliefs. She has done websites in the past for LGBTQ clients… but she will not do a website promoting gay marriage.
The couple took Lorie to court, and they won… They also won the appeal…
Now Lorie and her attorney are taking the case to the Supreme Court.
Lorie says Colorado is forcing her to violate her religious beliefs and 1st Amendment rights.
The Constitution is clear that we are endowed with rights from God that no man, state, or government can take away from us.
Free speech gives us the right to say
whatever we want… Good or bad. It protects speech that we don’t like or disagree with.
It gives us the right to:
- Criticize the president
- Criticize politicians
- Criticize the government.
- Criticize bureaucrats
- Criticize a law or a judgment…
No other country has that freedom. That’s the beauty of America… At least it was.
Over the past several decades, states and the federal government have enacted laws to curtail free speech under the guise of “hate speech.”
However, radical groups use these “hate speech” laws to force their will on those who disagree—You will believe what we believe or be destroyed.
That’s exactly what’s happening to Lorie. She was targeted for her beliefs, and the radical socialists had to make an example of her.
Lorie has been fighting for her rights for over six years now, and she’s hoping that the Supreme Court will rule in her favor— and in favor of the 1st Amendment.
Please pray for Lorie, he
r lawyer and the Supreme Court.
