Dr. Eithan Haim, a pediatrician at Texas Children’s Hospital, took a courageous stand against what he believed was a grave injustice: the unauthorized gender-affirming surgeries on minors within the hospital.

His actions, intended to protect vulnerable children, have now led to severe legal repercussions.

Dr. Haim first became aware of the troubling practices when he witnessed what he described as “unhinged and divorced from reality” transgender interventions on minors.

Concerned for the well-being of these children, he leaked documents to a reporter, revealing that the hospital continued to perform these surgeries secretly despite Texas laws prohibiting such procedures without parental consent.

His revelations came shortly after Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton’s declaration that gender-affirming care on minors could constitute child abuse under state law.

Despite public assurances from the hospital that they would cease such procedures, Dr. Haim alleged that they not only persisted but increased their frequency, potentially affecting hundreds more children.

Instead of being hailed as a hero for his courageous efforts to safeguard minors, Dr. Haim found himself targeted by federal authorities. The Department of Justice issued a letter naming him a “potential target” in a federal probe and subsequently indicted him on four counts of HIPAA violations.

However, Dr. Haim’s persecution didn’t stop a second whistleblower from coming forward in defense of the children being mutilated.

Vanessa Sivadge, a registered nurse at Texas Children’s Hospital, has backed up Dr. Haim’s allegations, and she has also alleged that physicians at Texas Children’s Hospital have committed Medicaid fraud by “illegally billing Medicaid for transgender procedures.”

Soon after she went on TV and revealed what was going on, the FBI showed up at her house, and, according to Sivadge, the FBI gave veiled threats if she did not assist in their investigation into Dr. Haim.

Frightened, Sivadge’s Christian faith in Jesus Christ is helping her overcome the frightening situation.

“It was a really difficult time where we had to rely on the Lord and just turn to him,” she said.

Sivadge said one Bible verse that has encouraged her through the “really difficult” situation is Ephesians 5:11, which reads: “Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness but rather expose them.”

“I took that very literally,” Sivadge explained. “What God designs, he defines, and this is not an issue we should compromise on. This is a foundational Genesis 1 issue.”

She believes God brought her to a place where she was forced to depend on him. Citing Ephesians 2, Sivadge believes God prepared her in advance for the difficult work of standing up for the truth about biological sex.

“This was not an accident to God. And he knew this would happen a long time ago, and this is the good work that he’s prepared in advance that I would do,” she said.

“Reclaiming that truth and just speaking the promises of God over myself — that God is ultimately my defender, that he’s my protector, that Jesus is my advocate before God the Father, that nothing can snatch me out of his hand. Speaking those truths to the fear and the anxiety that the enemy wants to keep you in was so critical for me in the following weeks. Christians are called to defend God’s truth no matter the cost,” Sivadge explained.

“God is worthy of our trust no matter what happens,” she said.

“So, we knew that this was not the end of the story, that we had to speak out, that we had to affirm what God has deemed good — and that is the good and perfect design in men and women. His design for our gender and sexuality is good, beautiful, and right. And we are called to affirm that no matter the cost,” she explained.

Since that one visit from the FBI, Sivadge hasn’t heard from them. However, Dr. Haim faces up to 10 years in prison but remains resolute.

Dr. Eithan Haim’s decision to speak out against what he perceived as harmful practices aimed at minors has placed him in the crosshairs of legal crosshairs of the Biden administration and the radical ideological DOJ bureaucrats lawfare against anyone who doesn’t agree with their policies or their agenda.
