Attacks against Churches are skyrocketing this year.

From January through March, 69 reports have been officially made to the police.

There have been:

• 53 acts of vandalism against churches
• 10 arson attacks, attempts, or fires of “mysterious causes”
• 3 gun-related attacks
• 3 bomb threats
• 2 assaults

Altogether 29 states saw church violence. North Carolina saw the most with 7.

This significant research is from the Family Research Council. It’s hard to collect this information, so it’s probably an understatement of what’s really happening…

Also, many churches never report any problems to the police, which raises a few questions…
