Your tax dollars are bankrolling Biden’s border chaos through a shadowy network of NGOs.
A bombshell report by the Center for Immigration Studies has exposed how over $1.6 billion is being funneled through more than 200 nonprofits to support unchecked migration into the United States.
Their
mission?
To bring millions of illegal immigrants into the country each year with taxpayer money.
So, when federal officials say they don’t pay for “asylum-seekers” who are being flown directly into the United States, they are telling a half-truth because they are giving money to nonprofits and NGOs who then pay to help these migrants get onto these “secret” pre-dawn flights into the U.S.—over 320,000 illegal aliens from January through December 2023.
According to the Center for Immigration Studies, a United Nations-led “Regional Refugee and Migrant Response Plan (RMRP)” distributes $1.6 billion through more than 200 nonprofit groups.
These nonprofits, including faith-based groups like Jewish, Lutheran, Catholic, Seventh Day Adventist, and nondenominational organizations, receive hefty grants from the U.S. State Department and USAID.
During 2024, they distributed cash, food, shelter, and even “humanitarian transportation” to migrants bound for the U.S. border, supporting millions of U.S.-boun
d immigrants across 17 Latin American nations and Mexico.
There is evidence of activists mobilizing for political purposes, including obtaining driver’s licenses, Social Security numbers, and voter registration.
The investigation revealed that over 30 faith-based nonprofits among these UN NGO partners receive taxpayer funds from the U.S. State Department’s Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration (PRM) and the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).
These groups then distribute the funds to facilitate illegal crossings at the U.S. southern border.
For example, in 2022, HIAS, a self-described “Jewish American” nonprofit, received 47% of its revenue from government grants, predominantly from the State Department.
In 2024, HIAS pledged $17.1 million to at least seven Latin American nations, with substantial portions sourced from State Department grants to help immigrants.
According to USAspending.gov, the State Department’s PRM granted HIAS $6 million in 2022 and an additional $5.2 million in 2023, specifically for the UN project in Latin America.
This taxpayer-funded support, directed by the State Department’s refugee assistance programs for the Western Hemisphere, goes towards “direct emergency humanitarian assistance” in countries like Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru.
UN budget documents and federal grant databases reveal that PRM and USAID have provided unprecedented funding to the Latin America project’s main UN overseers, including the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and the International Organization of Migration (IOM).
The State Department’s PRM and USAID have given IOM $1.4 billion in the last 12 months, the highest on record. PRM is also the largest donor to UNHCR, supporting 15 different UN agencies that distribute aid along the migrant trails in Latin America.
These grants from various federal government bureaucracies are instigating migrants’ journey to the United States since their basic needs are being met and border policies will likely permit their entry and long-term stay.
The UN relies heavily on religious NGOs to handle a significant portion of the $372 million in “Cash and Voucher Assistance” and “Multipurpose Cash Assistance” distributed to an estimated 624,000 migrants heading to the U.S. in 2024.
This assistance often includes pre-paid debit cards, hard cash, bank transfers, and mobile transfers.
For example, The Seventh-day Adventist Church’s humanitarian arm, ADRA, distributes over $10 million, 38%, as cash and cash vouchers and the rest for food, shelter, and hygiene needs in Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Argentina, and Peru. From 2021 to 2023, ADRA received substantial funding from USAID and the State Department.
Catholic organizations collectively manage over $26 million in aid for U.S.-bound migrants. The Caritas organization (a catholic-based NGO) will distribute $12.3 million, primarily as cash and cash vouchers. USAID and PRM have given Caritas Brazil more than $11 million since the migration surge began in 2021.
USAID awarded Lutheran World Relief a million-dollar grant for FY 2023.
The 200-plus NGOs in these efforts highlight taxpayer support for numerous other groups.
UN documents indicate an aggressive expansion of NGOs working on migration routes, suggesting even greater diversions of U.S. taxpayer money to support them in the future.
Once here, other NGOs take over bussing and flying illegal migrants into the U.S. and all across the country. They pay for food, clothes, hotels, cell phones, Uber rides, buses, and airplane tickets.
“The problem here is that the NGOs have taken over as the official travel agency of the Department of Homeland Security,” said Charles Marino, a former DHS advisor under President Obama. “So now they’ve turned it over to the NGOs, not just to coordinate the shelter and the food, but also the travel; ultimately, we’re going to see billions of dollars of taxpayer money go to waste through fraud and abuse because there’s no oversight through FEMA.”
The revelation of taxpayer funds supporting mass illegal migration raises serious questions about government priorities and transparency.
As these nonprofits continue to receive millions, the debate over the unintended consequences of such funding intensifies.
With NGOs’ continued expansion and operations along the southern border, the scale of taxpayer funding diverted to these groups remains unclear.
The federal government is funneling billions of taxpayer dollars to bring millions of illegal immigrants into the country.
Once here, we spend billions more in welfare on feeding, clothing, housing, and providing medical care—all paid for by the American taxpayer.
The question is, why?
For Democrats, it’s a way of stacking the election deck in their favor with millions of uneducated, uninformed voters who will blindly vote Democrat to get all of their “free stuff.”
For Republicans, they get cheap labor… which pulls down wages in the long run for the poor and middle class.
For the average American, it means that they need to work harder and longer hours to pay for the influx of illegals and all their “free stuff” … and deal with the increase in crime, drugs, and human trafficking.
It’s time to put an end to the border crisis and put America and Americans first.
